Egg Freezing
As a woman ages, her ovarian reserve — the number and quality of eggs — naturally declines, even though her reproductive organs may still be capable of supporting a pregnancy. This decline occurs gradually until around age 35, after which it accelerates more rapidly. Reduced egg quality can lower the chances of conception and increase the risk of miscarriage or genetic abnormalities. Egg freezing provides women with the flexibility to preserve their fertility, allowing them to plan pregnancy later in life and take control of their biological clock with confidence.
Ovarian Stimulation (7 to 10 Days):
Starting on Day 2 of the menstrual cycle, fertility medications are prescribed to stimulate the development of multiple ovarian follicles. Follicular growth and hormone levels are carefully monitored through ultrasound scans and blood tests. Approximately 36 to 40 hours before the scheduled egg retrieval, an hCG “trigger” injection is given to mature the eggs for collection.
Egg Retrieval (OPU):
Eggs are collected using a thin, ultrasound-guided needle during a brief, minimally invasive procedure under sedation. The retrieved eggs are then carefully frozen for future use.
Future IVF Cycle:

Sperm Freezing
Sperm freezing is a reliable method for men to preserve fertility for future family planning, especially before undergoing treatments that may affect sperm quality. Sperm can be collected from natural ejaculate or surgically via TESA or MicroTESE, even in cases of reduced sperm parameters.
Semen Collection:
Semen can be collected at Cosmomed Fertility Center, Fujairah Surgical methods like TESA or MicroTESE may also be used when necessary.
Semen Analysis:
The sample is evaluated for sperm count, motility (ability to swim), and morphology (normal shape) to assess its quality before freezing.
Sperm Freezing:
Sperm cells are frozen using advanced vitrification (rapid-freeze) techniques and safely stored for future use.
Future IVF or IUI Cycle:
