MicroTESE
Micro-Dissection TESE (MicroTESE) is a specialized surgical procedure designed to retrieve sperm in men with Non-Obstructive Azoospermia or severe testicular failure. This technique is particularly valuable for men in whom sperm production is limited to very small, localized areas that may be missed by standard biopsies or needle aspiration.
Request an appointmentDuring MicroTESE, the testes are surgically opened and examined under a microscope, allowing for a meticulous search of all regions to identify healthy areas more likely to contain sperm. Retrieved sperm can then be used in a current IVF-ICSI cycle or frozen for future use. Due to the complexity of the procedure, CosmoMed Fertility Center has developed the Simultaneous Staged Sperm Retrieval Procedure, offering men a highly efficient approach with the best chances of successful sperm retrieval.
