Male Infertility Treatment Options
Cosmomed Fertility Center, Fujairah offers comprehensive treatment options for men experiencing infertility.
Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA)
TESA is a minor procedure lasting 5–10 minutes under sedation, typically suitable for men with Obstructive Azoospermia where sperm is expected to be easily retrieved. Sperm is directly collected from the testes for use in an IVF–ICSI cycle.
Micro-Dissection TESE (MicroTESE)
MicroTESE is an invasive procedure for men with Non-Obstructive Azoospermia or severe testicular failure. The testes are surgically opened, and tissue is examined under a microscope to locate localized areas producing healthy sperm that may be missed with standard biopsy or aspiration techniques.
To determine the best treatment for your situation, schedule an appointment with Cosmomed Fertility Center, Fujairah today.

Causes of Male Infertility
Some common causes of male infertility include:
Obstructive Azoospermia: Sperm is produced but blocked from reaching the semen. Sperm can usually be retrieved via microsurgery.
Non-Obstructive Azoospermia: Sperm production is impaired at various stages, but some areas of the testes may still produce mature sperm.
Retrograde Ejaculation: Damage to the bladder sphincter allows sperm to flow into the bladder. Sperm can often be recovered from urine for IVF–ICSI.
Oligospermia: Low sperm count, often accompanied by abnormal morphology or reduced motility.
Varicocele: Enlarged veins in the scrotum due to faulty valves in the testicular vein, affecting sperm production.
